“Father, give me the Journey of three days”
Father God, we thank You for the journey that we are on and for the way that You led us on it, even as You did Israel in the day that they were called out of Egypt. You led them out of the land of bondage and into the way they should go. You became their compass, their map and their guide and as long as they were following You, they only had a three days journey.
Exodus 13:21-22
21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:.
My Father, who could have wanted more. Even as You did with Israel, You have done for us, leading us and guiding us in the way we should go. Sometimes, never knowing it was You, even before salvation we were being led by the hand as dear children. But, all of the LOVE that has been shown to us from You, sometimes means nothing, because of THE FLESH!
22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
Father God, truly You used others to minister to us even in our needs and our lack while we were yet in our sins. And, to know that Your LOVE for us was, and is, greater than our love for You is fearsome and awe inspiring!!
Father, we have had people after us as Pharaoh was after Israel, because they benefited him more that he benefited them. We had people to make slaves and servants out of us even as Pharaoh did to Israel. Only when we get to a certain place in life, we forget how YOU came and led us out of bondage. As children, we have been raped by people that we know and were forbidden to tell of the rape. As children, we were beaten by step-parents who had no love for us and we were forbidden because of threats to tell of the beatings. As children, we made to serve in manners that were wrong and we were forbidden to complain about it!! As children, we were forbidden the education that was free to us because we had to serve as slaves serve their master!!
Father, as we got out on our own, we even married the wrong people, thinking that now we have love, which became another Pharaoh in our life. We had to do what we were told to do by others that we were married to. We were treated as slaves in a house that was supposed to be a home. Raped by those who we were legally married to and beaten, yet You stepped in and guided us out into another place. But, it sometimes get hard to remember, because of the better place that we are in.
Father God, we were in places to a Pharaoh that had us addicted to drugs, sex, stealing, killing and whatever else, the Pharaoh had us to do!!! The Pharaoh built prisons and jails for us and put us in them. Even though he was the reason for the addictions of drugs, money, sex, murders and all of the rest. But, You came through and brought us by Your out stretched hand out of the land of bondage and somehow we have the nerve to forget!!
Father God, after you brought us out, You gave us a song to sing of our deliverances and we sang joyfully and we danced unto You. But, some of the ones that we sang and danced and shouted with, even after they were delivered and You placed them in major positions, began to complain!! How soon we forget of Your goodness and the deliverances that some of us will not even talk of because we are still forbidden by the Pharaoh’s that was in our lives!!!
Exodus 15:1-11
1. Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
2. The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
3. The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.
Oh Lord, how we magnified You and how we gave glory to Your great and mighty name, because we SAW You deliver us. O’ how You delivered us from our Pharaohs and his company who worked with him against us. O’ how we gave You thanks and we told everybody about the great deliverances from the Pharaoh’s, but somehow we soon forget. When it ONLY takes three days for the journey to become complete, O’ Lord, how we forget!!!!
4. Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
5. The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
6. Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
7. And in the greatness of thine Excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sent forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
8. And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
Father God, for Israel You turned the sea that their enemies were in into Jell-O. Jell-O? Lord is something that we have eaten and enjoyed, but they did not enjoy that sea, because all of the oxygen was taken out and they surely died, Now Father we have seen You stop our enemies COLD in their tracks, but we forget too soon. We forget, so help us to remember, where we were when we stepped into HOLINESS and what was going on in our life to destroy us before You called us into You and the enemies that has risen up against us. Jell-O is still alive and doing well. So, stop them and let us read about them in the Newspaper or on Television. But, as You stopped the enemies of Israel back then, stop our enemies just like that today, CONGEAL them!!! In Jesus Name! Amen
9. The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
10. Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
The enemy is still saying the words that they said then against us now. But Father God, as You did then, do now, BLOW YOUR WIND and overtake them again for us now!!!! In Jesus Name! Amen!
11. Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
I will say continually, who is like the Lord? And I will answer, nobody!! I will say among the gods on this earth, which one is like the Lord? I will answer, nobody!!!! I will say that there is no God like You and no one deserves the praise and the honors that You do and I will give NOT one of the gods of this earth YOUR praise, not budda, not santa claus, not the easter rabbit, not the sun god, not moon, not yoga, not me!!! No one will get the PRAISE, THE HONOR AND THE GLORY THAT YOU DESERVE, NO ONE!!!! Father God, give to me an Obedient Spirit and a Non-Complaining Heart so that I will ONLY have three days to reach the Moments of successes in my life, only 3 days, in Jesus Name, Amen and Amen!!!
