And I set MY Face unto the Lord My God - - Daniel 9: 3 - 20
3. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
4. And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
5. We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
6. Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spoke in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
7. O Lord, righteousness belonged unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
8. O Lord, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. 9. To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness’s, though we have rebelled against him;
10. Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
11. Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
12. And he hath confirmed his words, which he spoke against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.
13. As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
14. Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
15. And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16. O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
17. Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
18. O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness’s, but for thy great mercies.
19. O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
20. And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God;
Father God, as I confess to You my SINS and my INIQUITIES and my TRESPASSES and my TRANSGRESSIONS, hear me and forgive, I pray!! Give an open heaven to me at this time and as you did for Daniel, send even the man Gabriel and allow him to tell me as he did Daniel, what is coming and what is determined upon Your people, the Saints. We need the greater assurance that was given to Daniel.
Father, as Daniel was told of the last days, show us even more and cause us to hear YOUR WORD and place within us an OBEDIENT heart. Move out from us the seven evil spirits that YOU hate, according to
Proverbs 6:1-7
1-the proud look. As I set my face towards You Father, we walk in pride when we think too high of ourselves because of our educations and our businesses and the things that we have, looking down on others, but so did Lucifer walk in pride and You kicked him out of Your Presence, so now Father, remove the pride from our heart, so that we may stand in Your Presence in Heaven, in Jesus Name!!
2-a lying tongue. As I set my face towards You Father, we use lies when we want to be right and knowing that we are wrong, we will argue a point that is absolutely wrong and having no knowledge just lie, remove that from among us, in Jesus Name!!!
3-hands that shed innocent blood. As I set my face towards You Father, with our knowledge about others, we will hurt others by trying to lead them and teach them and justify ourselves, Father, remove that spirit from among us, in Jesus Name!!!
4-a heart that devises wicked imaginations. As I set my face towards You Father, when we contrive and plan, even invent elaborate evil thoughts of others in our mind, even to think evil of holiness, we stir up the wrong spirit among the brethren and it is important to You that Your Peace in running the Church, in Jesus Name!!
5-having feet that be swift in running to mischief. As I set my face towards You Father, we can cause a source of harm and evil and or irritation to come on others; especially to others that we allow hatred to build up in us against them and we are always in a hurry to run to mischief, picking up the phone, texting, emailing, tweeting and just being toooooo busy, so Father we ask that You remove the mischievous spirit from among us, in Jesus Name!
6-a false witness the speaks lies. As I set my face Father, forgive us for claiming to know something and we don’t or that we saw something and we didn’t that was really important for the sake of others, we sometimes say that You showed us and it was a lie or we even will say something said and it was a lie, it is written that You will speak once, yea twice and that Your people know Your voice and a stranger they will not follow, So Father remove that lying spirit from our tongue, in Jesus Name!!
7-and finally, sowing discord among the brethren. Which for You Father is an abomination which is to You an object of intense disapproval, it is disgusting, it is immoral and shameful. Father we can walk around spreading lies among the Saints, where Your Holy Spirit lives, with You, our lack of agreement and harmony is an abomination, whether it is in our marriages, whether it is in our meetings, whether it is in our businesses. As I set my face towards You Father, You HATE anyone who will sow discord among the Saints and we must see as You see, You see a war going on in the Body of Christ when we are not walking in agreement and You are not the general in this war, so for those who like to stir up battles in the homes and among the Saints, we BIND them over into the hand of Your enemy, so that total agreement for Spiritual and physical growth and prosperity will be among Your Saints, Father we ask You to PUT a stop to those WHO SOW DISCORD among the brethren, In Jesus Name, Amen!!!! As I set my face towards You Father, hear ME this day and bring total ONENESS in Your Good Will and Amen!
