Today's Message:  Love Rejoices with the Truth

Definitions

Rejoices:  vb.1.to give joy to; gladden; 2. to feel joy or great delight,

Joy: n., 1. a feeling of happiness that comes from success, good fortune, or a sense of well being. 2. a source of happiness. 3. bliss (complete happiness)

Happy: n., enjoying well being and contentment, cheerful

Gladden:- vb., to make glad, experiencing pleasure, joy or delight, pleased, very willing, pleasant, joyful, cheerful;

Delight: vb., to take great pleasure or satisfaction;

With: prep., a word that combines with a noun or pronoun to form a phrase

Truth: – n., honesty, the real state of things; the body of real events or facts: agreement with fact or reality

Fact: n., the quality of being actual about something that exits or occurs

Scripture Text

Philippians 1:18:  What then?  Notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Isaiah 60:1:  ARISE, SHINE; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

Ephesians 4:25:  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Acts 5: 40 - 42: And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and  beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.  And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.  And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
