Exhortation Praise God for His Mercy and His Truth
Definitions
Exhortation: 1. An act or instance of exhorting. 2. Language intended to incite and encourage.
Exhort: To try to influence (someone) by words or advice: to strongly urge (someone) to do something. Transitive verb: to incite by argument or advice: urge strongly. Intransitive verb: to give warnings or advice: make urgent appeals
Appeal: A legal proceeding by which a case is brought before a higher court for review of the decision of a lower court
Praise: 1. To say or write good things about (someone or something) : to express approval of (someone or something). 2. To express thanks to or love and respect for (God). 3. To glorify (God or a saint)
Hallelujah: A shout or song of praise or thanks to God.
Mercy: 1a. Compassion or forbearance shown especially to an offender or to one subject to one’s power. 1b. Imprisonment rather than death imposed as penalty for first degree murder. 2a. A blessing that is an act of divine favor or compassion. 2b. A fortunate circumstance. 3. Compassionate treatment of those in distress. 4. (at the mercy of)- wholly in the power of : with no way to protect oneself against.
Truth: The real facts about something. 1b. sincerity in action, character, and utterance. 2a. (1) the state of being the case : FACT (2) : the body of real things, events, and facts : ACTUALITY (3) often capitalized: A transcendent fundamental or spiritual reality. 2b. A judgment, proposition, or idea that is true or accepted as true. 2c. the body of true statements and propositions. 3a. the property (as of a statement) of being in accord with fact or reality.
