“Day Two”

10/02/2018                                                                                                      Brother Jacobi Malone

Father God, help us to 'Renew our Offerings', to You!"

(Ezra 3: 4-7)

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, before we make a single request, we have to say Thank You Jesus! Thank You Jesus for Your Name. For Your Name is Perfect. If it were not, then how could You perfect those things which concernth us? As our forefather David said, Your way is perfect. We know this is true, because You are The Way, and since Your Name is Perfect, then so is Your Way.

Father God, thank You for the truth, which makes us perfect. We know this to be true, because You are The Truth, and to walk in Your Truth, has made us to walk in Your Perfection, and has made us free. Though the world believes that no one is perfect, they are the world. That is their truth. But, we know that that is a lie, because we know The Truth! For You have perfectly revealed this to us.

Father God, what we’re saying is, everything about You is Perfect! Your Healing is Perfect. Your Deliverance is Perfect. Your Knowledge is Perfect. Your Wisdom is Perfect. Your Understanding is Perfect. Your Grace, Your Mercy, Your Favor, Your Longsuffering, Your Rebukes, Your Reproofs, Your Love, Your Entire Existence, all flawlessly wrapped in Perfection. Thank You Jesus!

Now, Father God, in Your Perfect Name, Jesus, utterly remove every sin that yet tries to hold us captive. With Your Perfecting Power, drive it out of us, In The Name of Jesus! Every spiritual sickness and disease that insists on keeping us in bondage, give us Your Power to resist, and cause Your Healing Power to be as a seed that is implanted on the inside, and then, manifested on the outside.

Father God, we pray that the Holy Ghost would pray through us, and make intercession for us, so that it is not our natural man that is saying these words, but that it is our Spirit man that is making petitions on our behalf. We pray that we not offer vain repetitions or words with no substance before Your Holy Presence. Instead, Father, we pray that our prayer offering be found fruitful and acceptable before You, and that You will hear, and answer, so that Your Name may be exalted above the Heavens, and Your Glory above the earth. In Jesus Name.

Father God, it is recorded in Ezra 3:4, 4. They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;

Father God, from the beginning, You established the law of giving. You laid out every detail as to when to give, how much to give, and even labeled it a duty. This duty is an obligatory task, conduct, service, or function that arises from one’s position. Father, in the natural world, there are positions that we hold on our jobs, in our families, and in various other aspects of our lives. In those positions, we are assigned tasks that we must complete. Failing to complete those tasks amounts to failing in our duties. In this same regard, yet spiritually, it is our duty to offer unto You whatever it is that You require of us. If it is a task, such as assisting the church, it is our duty to offer it. If it is conduct, such as giving You praise, or walking upright according to Your Statutes, it is our duty to offer it.  If it is any other service or function that is assigned to us, You have given us a duty that we must fulfill, according to the customs that You have laid from the beginning.

Yet, Father, You are not like man. You will not force us to fulfill our duties. This is established in Ezra 3:5, 5. And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the Lord that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the Lord.

Father God, there is a continual offering that we must give to You, according to the law that You established. We can not expect our past offerings to sustain us well into the future, just as a farmer does not expect the crops that were planted many years ago to profit him many years from now. As the farmer must continue to till the ground and plant seeds to reap a harvest, we too must continue to offer whatever is required of us, in order to receive what You have for us. Therefore, Father, help us to renew our offerings to You. To renew is to make like new, to make new spiritually, or to restore to existence. Father, whatever we used to offer that has ceased, whatever service or function, help us to restore it to existence. Help us to restore the funds, the health and strength, the mental sharpness and awareness, the bonding and workmanship, and any other function back into existence. Bring it back! In Jesus Name.

Father God, it is also recorded in Ezra that there were offerings that were consecrated. These offerings were dedicated to a sacred purpose. Not only this, but these offerings were from those that offered unto You freewill offerings, willingly. Today, Father, help us to consecrate our offerings. Renew in us the spirit of willingly giving to You. Lord, we understand that any offering that is not of a freewill is not consecrated. There is nothing Holy and sacred about giving time, money, effort, conduct, or service grudgingly or stingily. But, Father, just as we wave our monetary offering before You before we sow it, we wave all of our tasks, our conduct, our services, and our functions before You, and consecrate them for Your Purpose, and willingly offer them back to You. In Jesus Name. Father God, Ezra 3:6-7 tells us, 6. From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the Lord. But the foundation of the temple of the Lord was not yet laid. 7. They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.

Father God, You have given us a temple that has been consecrated for Your Purpose, and that we have labored in. We have offered time, money, and other services for the completion of the temple. Yet, there is still work to be done. Father, help us to continue to offer whatever is necessary for the completion of Your temple. Help us to renew our monetary offerings needed to give to the masons and the carpenters. Help us to renew the meat, drink, and oil offerings, so that when You send the laborers to assist us in the completion of Your temple, we will have the necessary offerings that they require to complete the work. Help us, Father, to fulfil our duties, and renew our offerings to You. In Your Perfect Name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
