“Day Three”

10/03/2018                                                                                                   Sister Kyesha Raulston

Father God, help us to rejoice when the new temple is laid!”

(Ezra 3:8-13)

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, we come to You this day thanking You and praising You just for who You are. Thank You for being Alpha and Omega. Thank You for Your Loving Kindness and Tender Mercies that were new this morning.

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for every sin and every trespass that I have committed against You and against Heaven. Create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me. Sprinkle Your Blood upon my conscious and purge me from ALL that is not like You. Cleanse me from me- this skin that I live in. This flesh that hates You and Your Spirit that Lives within me. Turn me to You like only You can and help me to save myself from this untoward generation.

Father God, You have promised us a new temple. You’ve taken us from the darkest places within ourselves and brought us into Your Marvelous Light. We are new creatures in You. We rejoice in that knowledge. Thank You Jesus!! Alleluia!!

8 Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the Lord.

Father God, You have saved us and anointed us to do a work in and for Your Kingdom. You gave us a building to come to week after week to learn more about You. You’ve blessed us with a Shepherd after Your Own Heart that rightly divides Your Word. A true Pastor that doesn’t profit from Your people but rather someone who loves and nurtures and cares for souls. We want to be pleasing unto You and to be that remnant that worships and praises the Only Living God. Now Father, help us to rejoice when the new temple is laid. Alleluia!!

9 Then stood Jeshua with his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together, to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brethren the Levites.

Father God, help us, the families that You have saved and chosen, help us to work together to finish the temple. Give us the zeal and help us to work in the Vision that You have given to our Shepherd.

10 And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the Lord, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.

11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:

Father God, many of the elders of the church have seen from whence You brought us. From when You told our Pastor to teach Your Word out of her home. When she had to get rid of her furniture, replace it with chairs to feed Your people and become sold out to You. Help us to remember the small beginnings and to be ever so grateful. Let those of us who didn’t experience the first beginnings to even rejoice for how You have given unto Your church everything necessary to beautify it and make it comfortable. Let us be thankful for every Word and the Sure Foundation that has been rightly divided to us. Give us such a love for souls as well that we will be a fervent witness of Your Love and Mercy!! Help us to sing songs that glorify You because Your Mercy endures forever!! Glory to Your Matchless Name!!

13 So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.

Father God, help us to rejoice when the new temple is laid. Help us to make a loud shout to show our gratitude for the finishing of Your temple. We believe the temple will be completed because You work everything for our good because we love You. Thank You for this temple You’ve given us! Help us to rejoice so loud that we draw men to You because they hear us giving You so much glory. Return unto us joy of our salvation.

Lord God, thank You for helping us rejoice when You lay the new temple. The new temple made of brick, and the new temples You created in us.

I ask all of these things in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
