“Father God, give to us “Political people” who will help us to do Your Will!”
(Ezra 6:1-12)
Father God, in the Name of Jesus, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for Thine is the Kingdom and the Power, and the Glory, for ever. Amen.
Father God, we are Your people called by Your Great Name. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that we should show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into Your Marvelous Light. We Bless Your Name today for the Excellence of Your Power that delivered us from the hand of the enemy over and over again throughout our lives. Deliverance came through the entrance of Your Word that brought understanding of Who You are and the knowledge that all Power is given unto You in heaven and in earth. Greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty belongs to You. All that is in the heaven and the earth belongs to You. The Everlasting Kingdom belongs to You. Lord, You are exalted as head above all. You are God from the beginning and there will never be another god after You. So, Father God, we come together collectively petitioning that You would give unto us political people who will help us to do Your Will even as You gave unto Judah and Jerusalem when they were rebuilding the temple in Ezra 6:1-12:
1Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon. 2And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of the Medes, a roll, and therein was a record thus written: 3In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits; 4With three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expenses be given out of the king’s house: 5And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought again unto the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God. 6Now therefore, Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shetharboznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, which are beyond the river, be far from thence. 7Let the work of this house alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place. 8Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expensed be given unto these men, that they be not hindered. 9And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail: 10That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savors unto the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons. 11Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this. 12And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.
Father God, Judah and Jerusalem had adversaries to come against them when they were building the temple unto the Lord God of Israel. The people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building. They hired counselors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of king Cyrus, even unto the reign of Darius king of Persia. They had chancellors and scribes that wrote accusations against them to stop the building of the temple.
Father God, we too, have been frustrated in our purpose to build the temple. We have had those who have made accusations against the Church and have caused Saints to walk away and have joined themselves with doctrines which they have not been taught. Some, You scattered. Some did not allow themselves to take root in You. Some of these were vessels of silver and vessels of gold. They were valuable to the Kingdom. We ask in the Name of Jesus, that You would restore to the temple every one to his place, and place them in the house of God. Place them in the midst of Truth and Righteousness where they can worship You in Spirit and in Truth. Purge us so that we can be vessels of honor, sanctified, and meet for Your use, and prepared for every good work. Give unto us and our children, a perfect heart, to keep Your Commandments, Your Testimonies, and Your Statutes. Let us offer willingly to You and build the temple.
Father God, give us political people that know the laws of the land and that will help us to do Your Will, and give them the mind to fight for Your Kingdom. Let them fight against those that have hindered the work of the building of the temple. DHS held back wages from us that hindered the work of the temple. Thieves came against us and stole air conditioners, damaged property, damaged vehicles, and stole finances.
Father God, touch those in the body that You have placed within them the ability to walk in the political realm that they would fulfill Your Purpose for their lives to help the vineyard of the Kingdom. Let them use the talents that You have given them so that You will be Glorified here and through Abundant Grace. Make room for their gifts to sit in Senate seats, to be Judges, Lawyers, Governors, Advocates for the poor and needy, lobbyists against companies and pharmaceutical entities that have agendas for their own prosperity and that rob people of their finances and even of their health.
Father God, place the right words in the mouths of the political people, that You will give to help us, and to persuade the Governor of the State of Arkansas to release the monies with interest that are due to us from DHS for the children that we kept in the Daycare and we were not compensated for. Cause us to receive everything that the palmerworm, cankerworm, and the caterpillar took from us. Let the temple be completed that we may offer sacrifices of sweet savors unto You therein, and that prayers will be made daily in the temple.
Now therefore, our God, we Thank Thee, and praise Your Glorious Name. We ask all of these things in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
