“Day Five”

10/05/2018                                                                                                        Elder Emma Malone

“Father God, give “Grants” to us to do what must be done to the Temple!”

(Ezra 7: 23-28)

Father God, in the Name of Jesus

Hear my cry, O God: attend unto my prayer.

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

I will abide in they tabernacle for ever; I will trust in the covert of thy wings, Selah.

For thou, O God, hast heard my vows thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. (Psalms 61:1 - 5)

Father God, remove every sin, trespass and transgression that would cause this prayer to be hindered, and guide this prayer with acceptable words.

Thank You, for being our Father and our God, thank You for giving us the mind to come to You for all our needs and concerns. We praise You Jesus, for we safely trust in You!   O most High!! Alleluia! Alleluia!!

Father God, no one can direct, position, or even control man’s thoughts, his actions, or reactions like You can, for You are LORD of all, to the point that You even declared in Matthew 28 that All Power in heaven and earth is given unto You. With that being said, this is what was written to Brother Ezra by King Artaxerxes:

Ezra 7: 23: Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God heaven; for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons? 24_ Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests, and levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom upon them.

Father God, You stirred up King Artaxerxes’ heart to help rebuild Your temple by giving monies, gifts, treasures, and other resources, in the letter to Ezra. You also let him know that You are a God that gives commandments on earth and in heaven. Those commandments must be obeyed and done earnestly, steady, and with energetic effort. Lastly, You caused him to guarantee that the ministry and ministers in the house of God should not be taxed or charged. Neither any government payments nor duties were due from the ministers or ministry for this service. No one can cause a mind to think like that but You Lord, for man loves money!! Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!

We pray this evening Father God, give “Grants” to us to do what must be done to the Temple!

We understand that a “Grant” is a sum of money given to an organization (church) for a particular purpose. We ask that You stir up the heart of the government, institutions, foundations, departments, any philanthropic persons, or grant givers to help us do what must be done for Your temple. Let it be given to us, so that we will not have to pay it back, be taxed or charged in any way for this gift, to do Your Work for the temple.

King Artaxerxes, continued in Ezra 7: 25: And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thy hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God: and teach ye them that know them not. 26 And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.

Father God, again, King Artaxerxes knew that Ezra was given wisdom by You to set up the right people to be in charge over all the matters concerning Your Rules and Commandments, and to even teach those who did not know them so all would be held accountable. Today, we pray this prayer, that when the monies come, that You give our Pastor the wisdom, to put the right people in charge and position, that fear and obey You. Stir up the minds of the people that are put in charge and in position with wisdom as well, to be in charge with a humble and willing mind to obey, do righteously and teach others. We pray for unsaved people to come in truly repented, being filled with the Holy Ghost, to help also with this work of the ministry. Whosoever will not obey the rules or commandment, let judgment come upon them quickly, for this is Your Work, for Your Kingdom and all must be done decently and in order.

Ezra concluded in verse 27: Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem: 28 And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counselors, and before all the king’s mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the Lord my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.

Father God, we know that there is nothing too hard for You to do. It is a light thing for You to touch the hearts of anyone to give unto Your people to help us complete the work on Your temple. Extend Your Mercy, O God, and stir up a people to give unto Your Kingdom first, then strengthen the ministers and the ministry to do the work in the Kingdom. Let Your Hand be upon us and be pleased with our efforts.   Cause us to work diligently.

Father God, we pray for the Love of God to be developed in us, for more Holy Ghost, and that we walk in spiritual obedience to do what must be done to the temple spiritually and naturally. Then we will have the heritage of those that fear Your Name. I ask all these things in the Name of Jesus, Amen!
