“Day Eight”

“Father God Bring to us “Reformation” to the Congregation”

(Ezra 10:6-14)

Father God, as we come together as one, we thank You for Your Mercy and Your Grace that You have given to us, each day. Father, I pray that we walk in unity and humility and that we continue in the state of being humble and that we stand fast in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the Gospel!

Father God, as we seek You these thirty days with Prayer and Fasting, we ask that You forgive us of our sins. We have sinned and have committed iniquity and Father we have done wickedly before You. Father, we have also rebelled against You by departing from Your WORD at times, forgive us LORD!!!! Alleluia and Glory to God!

Father God, as we ask You to bring REFORMATION to the congregation. We have learned that it is the act of improving and correcting someone with faults and problems. Father our having faults is a problem that prevents us from being perfect as You have told us to be. So now, remove the faults out of us, that we may be PERFECT!!!

Father God, as we see, in the Book of Ezra 10:6 Then Ezra rose up from before the House of God and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away. Father, we are seeing the same thing today in Abundant Grace Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, House of Prayer. We have and are seeing transgression like never before. Saints going against everything that they have been taught and some from forty years and downward are doing wrongfully in the House of God, things that they would not do if it was their job, because they honor the natural job, but not the SPIRITUAL JOB!

Father God, the Book of Ezra 10: 7, 8 says, And they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem unto all the children of the captivity, that they should gather themselves together unto Jerusalem; 8 And that whosoever would not come within three days, according to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that had been carried away. Father God, the Saints of that time had only three days to get it right or they would lose everything such as the material stuff that You had given them. They would lose properties and the tangible things that they had, and they would be deprived of any more rights to the things that You had given them, because of their wrongdoing, their transgressions, their disrespect to You and the Pastor and the Elders of the Church who will and have given counsel. Today, Saints have done the same things. Some will NOT even call for COUNSEL, but they have set themselves up for loosing everything that they have received from You.   Even as this is our time to pay taxes and if we don’t pay the taxes then our property WILL be taken from us, if we don’t obey THAT law, Father, I see what Ezra is saying, without Counsel and walking away from the Congregation, takes them away from everything that You have given to them. Now Father, bring REFORMATION TO THE CONGREGATION, bring conversion, rearrangement, bring dramatic change, bring a complete shift of everything that we have practiced before, such as prayer, with the Ministers on Saturday, Tuesday Night Bible Study, Friday Night Bible Study and Saturday Men, Women and Children Study. So many would NOT come out to the prepared study time and they just stopped. Well LORD, Bring Reformation, Now!! In Jesus Name, Glory to God!!

The Book of Ezra 10: 9, 10 says: Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the House of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain. 10 And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel. 11 Now therefore make confession unto the Lord God of your fathers and do HIS PLEASURE: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.

Father God, we see Ezra’s prayer and his confession, because he saw the transgression of them that had been carried away. We have seen how the Saints and the Children have transgressed because they were carried away into strange doctrines and strange places. Father God, we see the transgression of our children that have been run away from Church and marrying the wrong people, they were taken from the foundation that they grew up on and were taught. Now Father, they are absent from the Assembly with the congregation that they grew up in. NOW they are NOT here to exhort nor to be exhorted as we see the day of the Lord approaching!! Now Father, bring REFORMATION TO THE CONGREGATION and bring conversion to them, even as Ezra saw them come on the 20th DAY, cause us to see the same thing, in Jesus Name!! Praise the Lord!!

Father God, the Book of Ezra 10:12-14 said, then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, as thou hast said, so must we do. 13 But the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to stand without, neither is this a work of one day or two: for we are many that have transgressed in this thing. 14 Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us. In Jesus Name, we pray that all of the CONGREGATION, in and out, will confess their transgression and that they, this day, would totally REPENT and turn back to GOD and do HIS Will and NOT theirs anymore. As the people acknowledged their leaders over the congregation, cause REFORMATION TO COME, so that those who fight with the leaders in the congregation would stop!!

Finally, Father God, when You speak to us to STOP praying for a Saint who has wronged Your people and as Saul, disobeyed You and You told Samuel not to pray for Saul anymore and that You would NOT hear his prayer for Saul, just let us to OBEY Your Word as Samuel did. He did it with tears, but he obeyed You!!
