“Father God, Cause me to Always Stand and give “Thanks” to You!
(Nehemiah 12:38-40)
Father God, in the Name of Jesus, just thank You! Thank You Jesus! Thank You for this day. Thank You for my life. Thank You for my parents. Thank You for just breath in my body. Thank You for all that I have to eat. Thank You for the school that I go to. Thank You for keeping me safe in my school. Thank You for clothes on my back. Thank You for the house I live in. If it wasn’t for You, I could be out on the streets. If it wasn’t for You, me and my parents and my family could not be together and I could be in the custody of DHS. I could not have a home or a roof over my head that keeps me warm at night that keeps me cool when it’s hot outside. Just thank You! Thank You for the air.
Father God, forgive me for my sins and thoughts and sprinkle the Blood of Jesus on my conscious and cleanse me from all wrong.
Nehemiah 12: 38-39
38 And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
39 And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.
I just give You praise for even letting me be born in the family that I was born in and thank You for my daddy and my daddy‘s family and thank You for my mother and my mother‘s family and thank You for praying grandmothers and thank You for a Pastor that loves God‘s people and that she listens to You. Thank You for her because she gives the people Your Word and it is rightly divided it is not just something for us to be entertained with, because we can watch TV and be entertained we can listen to YouTube and watch videos to be entertained, but thank You that we get the truth. Cause me to always stand and give You thanks for all that You do.
Thank You for the baptism in Your Name. Thank You for knowing that’s the right way. I just give You praise and honor because it’s due to You because You have been so good to us. Thank You for even how You cared for us in the daycare because we could’ve been somewhere and been molested or hurt or not taught. Just thank You Jesus from my heart that’s what this prayer is Lord. Help me to always stand for You and to give You thanks.
Father God, even though it’s so many things out here that can distract us so that we pay attention to them more than You but thank You now for the opportunity and the mind to even write the prayer and to pray to You and for You to hear us. Father God, thank You and always cause my heart to give You thanks Lord because You are so good to Your people. We glorify Your Name because You are Worthy.
Nehemiah 12: 40 So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:
Father God, help me to always stand and give You thanks no matter what is going on around me. Whether I am at school, at home, at church, around friends, or strangers, help me to give You the praise.
We ask all of these things in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
